-just got back from shopping with Jules-
-and getting their nails done-
-yaay for girly times-
-had to run up to her room-
-and drop off her bags-
-as well as change her sweater-
-from pink-
-to white...with pink snowflakes across her chest-

-runs a brush through her hair-
-and nods at her reflection-
-digs through her purse-
-and wrinkles her nose-
-Casey hadn't called-
-where was that boy....-
-hmmmm-
-arcade most likely-
-hopefully-
-had told Jules to meet her there as well-

-makes her way down-
-scans her eyes around the room-
-and grins when she spots him-
-sneaks up behind him-
-and wraps her arms around his waist-

"Hey Handsome...you single?"

-was pretty focused-
-made it to the next board-
-liked this one-
-still looking at the screen of the game-
-feels arms around him and a voice-
-still focusing-

"Sorry, I'm tak-"

"Oh, hey princess, what's up."

-rubs her hands with the hand not on the gun-

"How was shopping?"

-Jules wasn't usually the type to go shopping-
-and get her nails done-
-it just wasn't her-
-but whenever she was with Chels it just happened-
-she'd mention shopping and then Jules would realise that she actually did ned some things-
-and that would lead to them starting off with just a tiny sweep of one shop-
-and then it would end with bags and bags in both of their hands-
-and every shop having been rooted through in the town-
-it wasn't their fault-
-they just buzzed off each other-

-and today had been no different-
-they'd finished shopping-
-and now Jules was back at home-
-she'd thrown the bags to one side in her room-
-and had grabbed her guitar straight away-
-she'd had some song stuck in her head all day-
-and she'd been dying to grab her guitar and strum it out-
-and so thats exactly what she did-
-but after a little bit she realised how much time she'd actually spent-
-she was going to be late to meet Chels and Casey at the arcade-
-what a place to meet-
-her work-
-on a day she was off-

-walking through the doors she tilted her head slightly-
-hands shoved into the pockets of her jeans-
-spots a familiar couple at Time Crisis-
-half runs over-
-pounces on Chels-
-gives a laugh-

"Hey Girly. Hey Chels"

-see what she did there-
-oh yeah...hanging out with Tanner too much-
-tilts her head slightly-

"Of all places to meet. The arcade, really? I mean, this is my day off!"

-shakes her head slightly-
-gives another laugh-

-hears a familiar voice-
-glances back quickly-

"Shouldn't you be getting high somewhere Jules?"

-snorts-
-was kidding-
-she knew that-
-died-

"DAMN IT."

-turns from game-
-kisses Chels-

-looks to Jules-

"Look what you made me do."

-girls sucked-
-never understand the video game thing-

-facepalm at Jules title to Casey-
-and wide eyes at Casey's remark-

"Can you two ever play nice?!"

-and tilts her head to Jules-

"I didn't even think about that! Still love me?"

"Oooh lets go get fooooood! I'm starving and wasting away to nothing!"

-gives a tilt of her head at Casey's question-
-it was a joke obviously-
-but it did just so happen that most of the times he's seen her that she's been high-
-and yes, it just so happened that she'd been with Tanner before-
-but not now-
-she wasn't high-
-and she hadn't been with Tanner-
-inner pout-

"Oh Casey, you grew a sense of humour"

-gives a slight laugh-
-nudges him slightly-

"Only having a laugh"

-they were friends-
-and they knew when the other was only joking-
-gives a slight laugh at Chels-
-followed by a nod of her head-

"Of course I'll forgive you. This once"

-well someone was in a good mood today-

-lights up at the mention of food-
-tilts her head-
-glances to Casey-

"What'd you say? Your girlfriend here is going to disappear if we don't feed her!"

-grabs Chels into a hug-
-yes, she was a good bit smaller than Jules-
-Chels was just adorable really-
-she was the sweetest thing alive and so small-
-everyone loved her-
-especially Casey, which was obvious to everyone-

"Oh Casey, if you aim a bit to the left you'll hit them all dead on. The game is a bit out of whack"

-gives a slight nod-
-she knew all the different tricks of the arcade-

"Yeah...I thought he was somewhere around here..."

-trying to locate his blonde head-

"Oooh I know, I know! The Bear Claw...I need wings."

-gives a laugh at the whole 'Chels going poof' thing-
-she loved them both to bits-
-Chels was her best friend-
-well, along with Tanner she was-
-her and Tanner were the only ones she felt completely and utterly at ease with-
-tilts her head at Tanner's name being mentioned-

"Actually he's on his way. Just keep an ear open for the screech of tyres"

-gives a slight laugh-
-they'd know what she meant-
-everyone knew what Tanner's driving was like-
-how could they not?-
-he was infamous with his jeep-
-just thinking about it brought a smile to her lips-
-jumps slightly out of her daze-
-hears Chels' suggestion-

"I vote we go with Chels"

-gives a nod of her head-
-followed by a smile-
-light frown on her brow now-
-gives a tilt of her head-

"Should we wait for Tanner? I think we should"

-big nod of her head-
-hadn't seen him all day-
-wasn't nice when she didn't see him-

-well look what the cat drug in?-

-and actually a semi-sober Tanner at that-
-half skids into a parking plot-
-and glances into the rear view mirror-

-slips his arms into his black fleece vest-
-still wearing his snowpants-
-and boarding garb-
-but really...who cares?-
-at least his hair was perfectly in place-
-as usual-

-slams the Jeep door shut and heads inside-
-it's Jules' day off-
-but odds are she's in the arcade anyways-
-steps inside it-
-and scans the room quickly-
-grins when he spots her-
-and Chels and Casey too-
-finds Chels to be completely amusing-
-and Casey's pretty cool too-
-though the lad could lighten up a bit...-
-inner shifty eyes-

-heads over for them-
-and slips an arm around Jules' shoulders-
-leans down to kiss her quickly-
-wiggles his eyebows up and down-
-and winks at her-
-turns back to Chels and Casey-

"Who thwacks someone with a shoe?"

-nods to Casey-

"Alright, man?"
-gives a little nod towards the door-

"Well before Shrimp-legs wastes away to nothing lets go..."

-actually wasn't sure how long it would take him-
-could be minutes-

-more likely the first one-
-knowing Tanner it would only take him a few minutes to get there-
-laughs at Chels' remark about the shoe-

"Chels, a shoe? Really?"

-shakes her head slightly-
-smiling of course-
-she just amused her an awful lot-
-she'd come out with the most random stuff-
-always amused Tanner whenever he was stoned-
-made Jules laugh an awful lot as well-
-was about to suggest giving him a ring when she felt an arm around her shoulder-
-glances up and returns the kiss-
-quite literally beaming now-

"No one is thwacking anyone with a shoe because you're here now"

-gives a laugh and a shake of her head at his name for Chels-
-wraps her arm around his side-

"Lets get our asses into gear and get out of here!"

"Should we take my car?

-helped getting up the mountain-

-and besides-
-Tanner's jeep probably smelled like pot-
