-sitting around with his guitar- -while nobody else was around- -assumed most were out skiing or snowboarding- -like usual- -best time of day to practice- -just...the other guys were out too- -sigh- -what a practice-
-strums guitar- -thinks for a moment- -smiles to himself- -starts playing- -taught himself how to play a song from Hairspray- -one of the craziest ones- -can't help but laugh at it- -thinks it's really amusing-
Once I was a selfish fool who never understood. Never looked inside myself, but, on the outside, I looked good.
-laughs- -can't sing it- -just no- -always laughs when he sings it- -settles on playing it- -sounded pretty cool on guitar-
[[ Bwha! Awful post for you! ]]

{Thanks Chrissy! -laughs-}
-got tired of snowboarding- -surprised at self- -thinks- -shivers of coldness- -walks towards lounge- -thinks as she goes- -opens door- -strips off jacket- -and gloves- -and hat- -sets it in a chair- -not paying attention who's in there- -hears music- -thinks the radio is on- -goes to the pop machine- -slides in dollar- -pushes button- -bends over- -grabs drink- -stands straight- -shakes head slightly to get her hair out of her face- -but to across her eye- -looks around- -spots him- -guy she had talked to Sammy about- -looks away- -goes to seat and table- -sets drink down- -tries looking for money- -sighs- -left it in bedroom- -looks about- -hands slipping in and out of pockets- -on coat as well-
Shoot!
-not loud- -but heard- -if listening- -sighs- -sits down- -was going to get food as well- -but only had one dollar on her- -got pop- -shakes head- -takes a drink-
-turns- -looks at him- -looks back to drink- -thinks- -sighs-

-blinks- -hears someone rifling around- -pauses for a second- -notices a girl- -a blonde- -small blush- -goes back to playing- -wasn't much of a guy who went up- -and just talked- -was strange like that- -sighs-
-stops the song- -holds the guitar lazily- -thinking of another song to play- -shifts in his seat- -couldn't think of many- -mostly because he felt awkward- -usually didn't play in front of anyone- -or a crowd- -not just one person- -not that she was paying attention- -but it made him feel insecure- -poor guy- -had a shyness issue-
-blinks again- -looks over at her again- -tilts head to one side slightly- -she seemed to be looking for something- -wondered what- -looks away- -thinks- -sigh- -puts guitar in its case- -leaves it with some other equipment- -does it all the time- -nothing's happened yet-
-walks over to her- -quietly, but not quiet enough to spook her- -but not loud- -hands in his pockets-
Uh...You...missing something?
-raises an eyebrow- -small smile-

-elbow on table- -head in hands- -eyes closed- -debating if its worth to get to her room- -grab money and come back or not- -a bit zoned out-
-hears a voice- -words said quietly- -opens eyes- -turns around immediately- -jumps slightly-
-smiles lightly- -is still cold- -shivers- -smiles-
Um. Not missing. Really.
-laughs- -shakes head to get hair away from eyes- -so she can look at him- -smiles-
I didn't know I left all my money except for a dollar in my room.
-nods- -thinks- -laughs-
I was going to get something to eat after boarding but I don't have any money.
-smiles- -thinks-
I'm trying to decides wheter to go get it or not.
-nods- -looks to his guitar case over there- -smiles- -looks back to him-
You were good by the way. I'd have said so earlier but well...yeah
-laughs- -smiles-

-listens as she talks- -smiles- -can't help but laugh- -doesn't realize he's laughing til a bit later, though- -stops- -mental facepalm- -she probably thought he was a jerk now- -wonderful- -clears throat-
I-I wasn't laughing at you, it's just I...I've been in similar situations before and...
-babbling- -he was babbling- -amazing- -had a habit of doing that- -wishes he could shake it- -always looked like an idiot around people he didn't know well- -wonders how he manages that- -no matter the situation- -sigh-
What I'm saying is...
-blink- -doesn't know what he was saying- -shrugs slightly-
I have some extra cash on me. I could give you some.
-nods- -always kept extra money on him- -in case things like this happened- -learned from hanging around Darren to be ready for anything-
-looks back at his case- -slight blush- -not very noticeable- -but a blush-
Th-thanks.

-hears him laughing- -looks down- -slight pink to her cheeks- -usually doesn't blush- -barely ever- -but well, sh just didn't know- -hears him start to talk- -looks up- -smiles-
Its. Its okay.
-laughs lightly- -bites bottom lip- -notices he's babbling- -and rambling- -smiles slightly bigger-
-thinks- -nods lightly- -thinks about it more- -shakes head again-
No, its alright. I mean. I don't want to take your money with out even knowing you.
-smiles- -sees him look at his case- -sees his own slight blush- -thinks- -smiles- -nods-
Your welcome.
-thinks-
And back to my last saying. I'm Adrienne.
-laughs lightly- -thinks- -is about to be brave-
And I might except your money if you'll let me pay you back and if you eat with me.
-smiles- -small blush showing- -hadn't mean for it to sound like she was hitting on him- -wasn't- -thinks- -might have-

Nice to meet you, Adrienne.
-nods- -extends hand for her to shake- -because it was the polite thing to do-
I'm Patrick.
-hated his name- -thought it was rather embarassing- -especially when guys would call him Patty to annoy him- -which worked- -every time- -went off once- -only time he ever remembered really being mad about something- -it just wasn't in him to get mad- -but, damn if that guy wasn't persistent-
-shakes head- -smiles-
It's fine to take money if someone offers.
-nod-
Besides, I'm not a fan of girls who walk around, starving themselves.
-blink- -that came out wrong- -shoot- -sigh- -couldn't ever say anything the way he meant it- -hopes she could tell- -though, not many people could- -whatever- -he'd deal one way or the other-
-listens to her conditions for borrowing money- -was slightly confused- -understood the paying back part- -but lunch with him?- -that was a strange thing- -does his best not blush- -and doesn't- -for once in his life- -is proud- -nod-
That sounds reasonable to me.

{He's so gosh darn cute! -laughs-}
-her small hand reached his- -shakes it lightly- -smiles-
Patrick...I like that name.
-smiles- -hadn't meant to say it out load- -but at the same time did- -he didn't seem confident- -plush she really did- -smiles-
-laughs- -nods-
True. But it still doesn't feel right. Not with out conditions.
-smiles- -laughs again- -raises eyebrow-
Don't worry, I don't starve myself. I'm in to many guy sports to starve myself.
-smiles- -puts own hands at waist sort of- -thumbs tucked in belt loops-
-nods- -smiles-
Reasonable.
-nods- -thinks- -wonders what she'd say- -thinks- -looks at the counter-
-thinks-
So I hear that your friends with Darren. Do you live in the same area?
-does- -same school- -hasn't seen him around- -just wanted to ask-

-shakes her hand- -with a smile- -thinksher hand is rather small- -but most girls' hands were compared to guys' hands- -just the way it normally seemed to work out- -puts his hands back in his pockets- -blink- -is surprised- -not many people liked his name- -smile-
Thanks. Adrienne's a nice name.
-nod- -thought it was cute- -but wasn't going to say that out loud- -would be rather awkward for the two of them-
-smiles slightly once more- -she wasn't going to give up- -even if he agreed- -seemed pretty independent- -liked that- -thought it was kinda funny, to be honest- -most girls would flip if a guy offered to buy them lunch-
-hears her say something about Darren- -mental groan- -hope he hadn't said anything to make him look like an idiot- -didn't think he'd do that- -but he was a bit loony sometimes- -soft sigh of relief- -shakes head-
Nah. I live in Vermont.
-nods-
What about you?

-smiles- -laughs lightly- -nods-
Yeah. Especially when being a tomboy and having all brothers I ended up with the nickname: Adrenaline Rush.
-smiles- -laughs-
I guess that came from whooping them at sports.
-walks with- -nods lightly- -looks at-
That must be a nice flight to just get here.
-smiles- -hears question- -sighs slightly-
I live in the same town. Same area really.
-sighs- -shakes head- -laughs-
-looks at him- -smiles-
You looked a bit nervous at that. Something I'd get from him I'd need to know?
-grins- -laughs-
If so don't worry. I don't get a long with him. My best friend Sam does though.
-nods- -hates that- -afraid she'll get hurt-

-raises an eyebrow- -tilts head to one side-
Adrenaline Rush?
-blink- -shrug-
I like Adrienne better.
-nod-
Hope you don't mind if I don't call you by that...nickname.
-laugh- -hard to imagine a girl playing sports- -unless cheerleading counted- -girls were just so...- -"OMG! I broke a nail!" all the time- -well, from what he heard anyways- -hung out with quite a few girls, actually- -heard that stuff a lot- -nice to meet one who wasn't like that-
-shrug-
The flight's alright. I hang out with awesome people and get paid. Good deal, I'd say.
-shrug-
And, it really is the only place I see a lot of people. It's worth it.
-nod- -grin- -blink- -blush- -shakes head-
D's not right in the head and says crazy things about people and...yeah...
-cough- -blink- -is confused-
Why don't you get along with him?
-everyone got along with him- -it was hard not to-

-laughs- -nods- -smiles-
Thanks. I'm glad you do.
-snicks- -walks with- -thinks- -laughs-
Yeah go ahead. I only use that when on sports.
-nods-
And thats because it has stuck with me.
-nods- -plays all sports- -football even- -only girl on team- -smirks-
-nods- -thinks-
Thats right, you work here don't you?
-thinks- -smiles- -decides to see if she can get that smile again- -or the blush- -both are well...cute-
Am I considered one of those awesome people so far?
-smiles- -nods- -sighs- -thinks-
I'm not a social person. I like to isolate myself. Sam is one of my best friends since the rest of my set died.
-was one of three triplets- -nods-
And. I guess I've seen D around. And I know D's a good guy, but for some reason I just look at Sam like a sister. A little sister. Over protective i guess you can say. I just can't help but think something's going to go wrong.
-looks at him-
I'm strange I admit it.
-grins- -laughs- -gets to the counter- -leans against it- -looks at him-
You sure you don't mind lending me money?
-laughs- -smiles-
We can go up to my room and i'll pay you back
-nods- -blushes- -realizes they just meet and she said, well basically invited him up- -looks to the person behind the counter-

-listens to her- -carefully- -did to everyone- -just the way he learned to figure out things- -people sometimes dropped hints about things- -not that he was necessarily trying to figure out anything just yet- -just a habit-
-nod-
Yeah. I do work here.
-sometimes even the band plays- -wasn't going to say that- -would sound like he was bragging- -hated when he sounded boastful- -even made him hate himself- -hated people like that- -ground his nerves to no end-
-blink- -looks over at sideways- -shrugs slightly-
So far, you are.
-nods- -smiles slightly- -hopes she doesn't turn out be different- -some people put on shows- -hated that also- -but some people were just silly like that-
-listens to her story- -doesn't really know what to say- -is an awkward topic- -blink- -nervously runs a hand through his hair-
Uhm...If you don't mind me asking, how old are you and how old is she?
-tilts head slightly- -doesn't want to sound rude- -thinks he probably does- -just curious-
D is a nice guy. I honestly can tell you I don't think he'd do anything to hurt your friend.
-nod- -had to stand up for him- -just a friend thing- -and honestly did believe that-
-stops at the counter- -looks at- -smirk-
I'm really going to tell you I changed my mind after I've offered and you're about ready to offer? That isn't very gentleman-like.
-blink- -blushes slightly- -finds that last statement just a bit awkward- -cough- -shrug-
It doesn't matter.
-shrug- -nod- -looks at the person behind the counter- -then back at her-
What do you want?

-smiles- -nods-
Thats cool. I mean working in a place like this.
-smiles- -thinks- -looks back at his guitar- -thinks-
Band? Or independent?
-looks back to him- -smiles- -thinks- -laughs lightly-
So far.
-smiles slightly- -doesn't do fake- -gets annoyed by it- -plus to hard- -to many lies for this blonde to handle-
-listens- -thinks- -laughs lightly- -looks at him-
I don't mind you asking.
-smiles- -thinks- -laughs-
I'm seventeen, and she is eighteen. What about you?
-nods- -laughs lightly- -thinks-
-laughs- -smiles- -sees his smirk- -smirks back slightly-
A lot of guys have been ungentle men like to me before, I'm shocked I've actually found a guy who is.
-thinks- -blushes slightly- -hadn't meant to say that in a...- -well...bad way- -thinks-
-laughs- -thinks-
I'll take what ever your having.
-smiles- -shrugs-
I'm not a picky eater.
-smiles- -looks around- -hair falls back into her eyes- -pushes it out-
